Functional Family Therapy

 

Program Description:

An evidence-based therapeutic in-home program that provides services to adolescents and their families who have been referred by the Bureau of Juvenile, Justice-Parole, Department of Children and Families. The referred adolescents will be returning to their families "on parole" from long term, out of home placements. Services are provided for 3-4 months.

Program Eligibility:

Eligibility Requirements are as follows;

  • DCF-initiated referrals
  • Ages 11 - 17
  • Male and Female
  • Reside in the catchments served by the DCF Bridgeport and
    Norwalk/Stamford Area Offices 
  • Juvenile Parole status referrals
  • Juvenile Probation referrals
  • Community referrals
  • Requiring intensive community-based services.

Accessing Services:

The services may be accessed during regular working hours ( Monday through Friday) from 9 a.m to 5 p.m by calling 203 394 6529 Ext. 3041

Client Fees:

The Program accepts Medicaid.
